Red Shoe Society Raises $22,000 to Support the Second Ronald McDonald House
Over the weekend, RMHC’s Red Shoe Society raised more than $22,000 to support the building of a second Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas! A Night at Gatsby’s Manor was generously sponsored by Willow Manor, VegasTickets.com, WBF Management dba McDonald’s, Ticor Title, and Breakthru Beverage.
The 20s-themed cocktail party brought out business owners, real estate, entertainment, and health professionals, and additional supporters of the Ronald McDonald House to spend an evening at an 11-acre residence known as Via Tivoli. Guests enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Rizzo Hospitality (the cannolis were to die for!), a whisky tasting hosted by Whisky Attic at an undisclosed location on the property (in true speakeasy fashion), cocktails (including the Bees Kness) served by The Blondetenders, and tunes provided by Cover Lane and Ryan Brady.
The silent auction brought in more than $5,000 with bidders from afar, and one hundred percent of the proceeds went towards the event fundraising total, thanks to auction item donors!
RMHC and the Las Vegas Red Shoe Society is grateful to all who participated in this one-of-a-kind event at a one-of-a-kind location. And a special thank you to the team at Via Tivoli. They are second to none, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Red Shoe Society are humbled to be guests in this beautiful home — all in support of RMHC Families.
