Junior League of Las Vegas, Founding Organization of RMHC Las Vegas, Contributes $25,000 to Capital Campaign

On Find the Good Day, the Junior League of Las Vegas presented Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas with a $25,000 donation for the Home for Now Hope for Tomorrow Capital Campaign.

The Ronald McDonald House would not exist without the Junior League of Las Vegas. They took on the project to help families of ill children who had to travel to Las Vegas for medical treatment. They formed the McCoaltion Committee, and together, with local McDonald’s Owner/Operators, several key builders and suppliers in the construction industry, and the medical community, they opened the doors of the Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas to its very first family in July of 1998.

Twenty-five years later, RMHC is proud to have been joined, once again, by JLLV Past President Nancy Gasho, current JLLV President, Chekesha Van Putten, and members for this next stage of growth to serve even more children and families in medical crisis at a second Ronald McDonald House.
