Due to the COVID-19 situation, all volunteer programs, including meal programs, are temporarily suspended. Please check back for updates on when we’re able to welcome back our volunteers!
In the meantime, if you’d like to help out from home – you can continue to collect pop tabs or decorate caring cards for our lunch program (at this time, we’d prefer decorated caring cards versus lunch bags). Click HERE for more information on our caring card decorating guidelines. Thank you!
Family Room hosts will provide a welcoming face to families using the room. Duties will include checking families in, giving tours of the room, performing simple administrative tasks, light housekeeping and keeping the kitchenette stocked. The Ronald McDonald Family Room® is open 9:00am-9:00pm, with three, 4 hour shifts per day.
Shifts are available Sunday through Saturday. A commitment of one, 4 hour shift per week for 6 months is requested. Click here for more information and to volunteer at the Family Room.
Shuttle Van Driver

Lunch Delivery Drivers
Each week day, 160 healthy sack lunches are prepared to be delivered to nearby hospitals. We are in need of lunch delivery drivers who would drive RMHC®'s refrigerated van to these facilities and delivery the lunches to children's bedsides and nurses to distribute. This opportunity is currently open on Mondays and Fridays beginning at 10:30am (delivering to UMC & Sunrise) or delivery to Summerlin can begin any time after 2.00pm until 6.00pm
Lunch Bag & Caring Card Decorating
Want to brighten someone's day? Then our lunch bag & caring card decorating program is for you! Visit the House to pick up some undecorated lunch bags or caring cards and a decorating guidelines sheet and start decorating OR you can purchase your own bags (MUST be a size 8/8lb bag) from local Smart and Final grocery stores or Costco Business Center. You can purchase 3x5 index cards (white or colored) at any local store with an office supplies section for the Caring Cards. For driving directions to the House, click here.
Lunch Wish List – Want to help with the Lunch Program, but can't commit regularly or feel artistic enough to decorate bags? Why not collect items from our Lunch Wish List and donate them to the Lunch Program.
Do you have a wonderful cookie or brownie recipe that you’d like to share? Come to the House and prepare your special recipe for our families. This activity is great for small groups, of up to 5 and can be scheduled on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 11:30am until 2:30pm. Youth groups must be supervised by an adult. Sorry we cannot accept food that has been made in an offsite kitchen. For more information, click here.
Are you able to help us with one of the following or know someone who can? We'd love to hear from you: repairs & maintenance (electrical/plumbing etc.), grant writing, fundraising, PR/marketing/advertising, printing, photography, entertainment services (balloons, floral arrangements, DJ, event production, etc.), personal services (massage, beauty, salon/spa).
Collect the pull tabs from aluminum cans and containers and donate them to the Ronald McDonald House®. The tabs are made of a high-grade aluminum which we recycle - the proceeds then go directly to help families staying at the House. The program runs all year long and collected tabs may be dropped off at the Ronald McDonald House® any day from 9am-9pm. Click here to download the Pop Tab flyer and label to affix to your own container or stop by the House to pick up your free Pop Tab House.
Service or Product Donation
We couldn’t fulfill our mission without the support of the Las Vegas business community.
We also look for opportunities for our families to get away from the hospital or to entertain siblings. Tickets to shows or amusement attractions and special services such as massages, salon services, family photography sessions, or fitness passes are greatly appreciated.
If you are interested in becoming a Community Partner by donating your service or product, please contact Shannon Sacks at (702) 252-4663 x2222 or email@example.com.
