Membership & Engagement Chair
Aaron was born and lived near Lake Tahoe in the small town of Truckee, CA until he was 9 years old, moving to Reno then to Phoenix, AZ where he lived until he graduated high school. After graduating high school, Aaron attended California State University-Chico studying Political Science. During his Junior year Aaron studied abroad in The Hague in the Netherlands, where his maternal grandfather was born and raised. After working in politics for 10 years, Aaron became an employee of the State of Nevada working at the Department of Motor Vehicles, a position in which he gets to practice his love of helping others. Since 2018 Aaron has been a member of Red Shoe Society helping with planning Fundraisers, Socials and Service Projects benefitting the Ronald McDonald House’s families, an organization his step Great Grandfather helped found in Philadelphia, PA. Aaron is proud to have served as Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee with his good friend Chris Militano over the past year raising much needed funds for RMHC families, including creating a brand new event from scratch in the middle of a pandemic. Aaron is excited to take on the new role as Membership & Engagement Chair, and is looking forward to working with the Social & Recruitment team to engage and recruit new members with the goal of getting Red Shoe's membership to at least 75 members by the end of the 2021/2022 board year.
