Due to the COVID-19 situation, all volunteer programs, including meal programs, are temporarily suspended. Please check back for updates on when we’re able to welcome back our volunteers!
In the meantime, if you’d like to help out from home – you can continue to collect pop tabs or decorate caring cards for our lunch program (at this time, we’d prefer decorated caring cards versus lunch bags). Click HERE for more information on our caring card decorating guidelines. Thank you!
There are a variety of ways individuals or groups can get involved with the House's meal programs that help support our families during their stay:
Create a wonderful home cooked meal for our families, right in the House kitchen. We have a fully equipped kitchen, just decide on your menu, purchase the ingredients and then prepare them in our kitchen. Dinner can be scheduled any day of the year. This is a great group activity for up to 10 people. For more information, click here.
If your group has availability to volunteer on the weekends, why not make breakfast for our families in the House kitchen and help clean the House? Up to 10 people can prepare breakfast while another 10 can help around the House. Your group will provide the food, then prepare and serve it in our well-equipped kitchen. Breakfast should be served by 9:30am. Maximum group size is 20 for this activity. For further details and to sign up head to our Weekend Breakfast page.
Do you have a wonderful cookie or brownie recipe that you’d like to share? Come to the House and prepare your special recipe for our families. This activity is great for small groups, of up to 5 and can be scheduled on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday beginning at 11:30am until 2:30pm. Youth groups must be supervised by an adult. Sorry we cannot accept food that has been made in an offsite kitchen. For more information click here.
