Food Drive provides food for an entire year

Las Vegas, NV, January 24, 2017– While you’re out shopping for the big game, pick up a few items for the Ronald McDonald House pantry to feed families who stay here in 2017. All participating Smith’s Food & Drug Store locations throughout the greater Las Vegas area will be hosting an annual Food Drive for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of Greater Las Vegas on Sat., February 4th, 9am-2pm.

Ronald McDonald House wish lists will be available as shoppers enter each Smith’s store at the RMHC volunteer table, inviting them to pick up items or make a small cash donation for families staying at the House. More than 250 volunteers make this food drive possible by collecting and sorting the donations, as well as stocking the pantry at the House.

“This is the 16th year that Las Vegas Smith’s stores have supported our Annual Food Drive,” says Executive Director, Alyson McCarthy. “These non-perishable items that are collected stock our pantry for an entire year!”
