The Professional Drivers Association was founded in 1989 as a driver advocacy group consisting of taxi drivers. Over the past 11 years, the Professional Drivers Association has donated a total of $115,598 to Las Vegas professional drivers through fundraising. The fundraising efforts happened after drivers experienced accidents and unfortunate encounters with passengers. Many of them have sustained life-threatening injuries and the Professional Drivers Association has assisted with the resulting medical costs and support to their families.
When the Professional Drivers Association dissolved, they chose to donate the remaining funds totaling $27,850.47 to Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Las Vegas. RMHC is truly grateful they have chosen to share their remaining funds with families of critically ill children.
