Applications for 2014 Ronald McDonald House Charities® Scholarship Program Are Available NOW!
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 15, 2013) – 2014 Applications for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Greater Las Vegas Scholarship Program are NOW available online. Eligible high school seniors have the opportunity to apply for a chance to be awarded a scholarship.
In May 2013, RMHC of Greater Las Vegas, RMHC, Inc., McDonald’s Owner/Operators of Greater Las Vegas and community partners awarded partners awarded 148 high school seniors and 51 alumni scholarships totaling more than $367,000, helping them reach their educational goals. Applications are available online now for 2014; visit rmhlv.org.
Application deadline for high school seniors is January 21, 2014.
Since 1999, the RMHC of Greater Las Vegas Scholarship Program has given out more than $2.8 million to students from Clark and Nye counties in Nevada. Eligibility requirements include:
- High school seniors in Clark County or Nye County schools planning to attend an accredited twoor
- four-year college, university or vocational/technical school following graduation.
- Applicants must have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher and be a legal U.S. resident
- less than 21 yrs. of age.
- Students of all ethnic backgrounds are eligible to apply.
